Application and access

Rudr	The desktop application containing Code, Chat, workspaces, and settings
Rudr Code	The built-in pre-alpha coding harness
Harness	The coding integration that executes a Code task, such as Claude Code or Codex
Provider	A service supplying model access or a coding integration; inspect the route to identify the actual account
Model	The selected model within an available connection
Access route	The credential and billing path, such as subscription, direct API, or Foundry
Rudr account	Rudr service identity, separate from a provider CLI account

Work and context

Term	Meaning in Rudr
Code session / task	Retained coding work associated with a harness and working folder
Turn / run	An execution in response to submitted work; controls and accounting can distinguish these units
Linked conversation	Related execution sessions joined by a supported continuation
Previous-session reference	A bounded snapshot from another readable Code session
Native history	The provider’s own eligible conversation state and operations
Context	Information supplied within a model’s available input window
Handoff	Prior-work information supplied to a new continuation; not a transfer of all native memory

Workspace and usage

Chat project	A collection organizing Chat conversations
Worktree	Separate Git checkout sharing repository history
Panel / tab	A workspace surface such as Files, Terminal, Browser, or Side chat
Side chat	Read-only discussion of a Code task through a separate conversational connection
Usage remaining / quota	A reported provider allowance window and its freshness
Recorded usage	Activity and accounting observed by Rudr
Subscription equivalent	An estimated API-like comparison, not an invoice charge
