Your agreement with Rudr
These terms govern your use of the Rudr website, desktop app, and Rudr account services. Rudr is operated by Austin Medina while the Rudr LLC formation filing is pending.
By using Rudr, you agree to these terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Rudr for an organization, you must have authority to act on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@rudr.app. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
An app in active development
Rudr is alpha software. Features, supported providers, and availability may change, and the app may contain errors or interruptions. Keep backups of important work and review changes before relying on them.
Rudr is currently free during alpha. Third-party subscriptions, API usage, hosting, and other services may incur charges under your agreements with those providers. Any future Rudr paid offering will disclose its price and applicable terms before you purchase it.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, protecting your sign-in accounts and credentials, and activity you authorize through Rudr. Do not share credentials or access accounts, devices, projects, or services without permission.
Signing in to Rudr is separate from authorizing an AI provider or integration. You are responsible for complying with the terms and usage limits of services you connect.
AI output and actions
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, insecure, or unsuitable for your task. Review generated content, code, commands, and changes before using or distributing them. Output is not a substitute for qualified professional advice.
Tools can read and change files, execute commands, access websites, and act through connected services. Choose permissions appropriate to the task and only authorize actions you are entitled to take. You remain responsible for reviewing consequential actions and their results.
Acceptable use
Use Rudr lawfully and respect other people's rights. Do not use it to gain unauthorized access, steal credentials or data, distribute malware, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, harass others, or disrupt the service. Do not bypass access controls or abuse provider limits.
You may report security concerns to support@rudr.app. Avoid accessing other users' information or disrupting their use when investigating a problem.
Your content and the app
You retain your rights in content you provide to Rudr. You grant only the permissions needed to process that content to deliver the features you request. You must have the rights needed to provide files, prompts, and other material to Rudr and your connected providers.
Rights in AI-generated output depend on applicable law and the relevant provider's terms. Output may resemble content generated for others, and Rudr does not guarantee its originality or freedom from third-party claims.
Rudr and its branding belong to their respective rights holders. Subject to these terms, you may install and use the app. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. These terms do not restrict rights granted by those licenses.
Ending use
You can stop using Rudr at any time. You can export supported account data or delete your cloud account in Settings → Account. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete your cloud account, and deleting your cloud account does not erase local project files.
We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, comply with law, or address violations of these terms. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Contact us if you believe access was restricted in error.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Rudr is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service or AI output will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your needs.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits or data, arising from use of Rudr. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will receive additional notice where required, and any required agreement will be requested before they apply.
For questions or to raise a dispute, contact support@rudr.app so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or waive rights that applicable law gives you.
